Muhammad Asif Raza is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and The Institute of Internal Auditors (UK) possessing rich experience extending to more than two decades. He also holds graduate degree from B.Z. University Multan. He trained form Riaz Ahmad & Co Chartered Accountants Karachi and Ilyas Saleem & Co Chartered Accountants Lahore. His training included review of financial systems and statutory audit of large and medium sized Companies. During his extensive career, he has obtained diversified experience in providing assurance, accounting, taxation, business and risk advisory services.
He is partner of Asif Associates Chartered Accountants and is leading team of professionals working under his direct supervision in a complex environment.

He possess vast experience in Planning & coordination of work assigned to staff, review of client’s internal control systems and work performed by audit assistants, finalization of audit assignments, evaluation of clients accounting requirements, implementation of clients system & data processing, and also engaged in sales tax, income tax and cost audits. He is also engaged in Income tax, sales tax affairs of the individuals, partnerships and companies including appearing in appeals before Commissioner/Collector (Appeals) and ITAT, Filing applications for refund of sales tax etc.

Apart from statutory and non-statutory audits and taxation, he is engaged in development & preparation of manual & computer based accounting systems and procedures, the review of existing MIS, budgetary controls, costing and pricing policies and suggest modification or substitutions, preparation of feasibility reports for projects, financial projections for Management decisions making, formalities required for the approval of projects with Investment Promotion Bureau/BOI etc. fraud investigation, price study and business valuations.

Apart from his professional experiences, he has conducted counseling services to students of ICAP in 1997-1999. He took Special Course conducted by Microsoft Computer College Lahore on Computer Practical Training (CPT) in 1999. He has attended pre & post budget seminars and participated actively for the finalization of new accounting standards etc.
